Data Deletion

This page explains what data the Bot retains, for how long, and how you can request deletion of your personal data.

1. Data That Is Automatically Deleted

The Bot is designed to minimize data retention. The following data is deleted automatically without any action on your part:

• Images — held in memory only while your request is being processed, then discarded. Images are never written to persistent disk storage.
• Deduplication cache — each cached entry expires automatically after 24 hours. The entire cache is also wiped whenever the Bot process restarts.

2. Data That May Be Retained in Logs

Operational logs may contain your Discord user ID, channel ID, message ID, a random trace identifier, and timestamps. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for reliability monitoring and troubleshooting, after which they are rotated and deleted.

3. How to Request Deletion

To submit a deletion request, send an email to vvenvw@gmail.com from the email associated with your Discord account. Please include your Discord user ID (a numeric identifier you can find in Discord's settings under Advanced → Developer Mode, then right-click your profile) so we can locate your data.

4. What Happens After a Request

• We will confirm receipt of your request within 72 hours.
• We will process valid deletion requests within 30 days, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
• Where your data has been shared with third-party services (the image search provider or e-commerce platform), we will forward your deletion request to them where feasible. Note that product listings already created on the e-commerce platform are governed by that platform's own policies and may require separate removal.

5. Data You Can Delete Yourself

You can immediately stop all further data collection by removing the Bot from your Discord server. Once removed, the Bot will no longer receive or process any messages from that server. Any cached data will expire automatically within 24 hours.
